It was asked if the Boss swale would cause the need for more drainage on Labore
Avenue since Labore is the overflow. Mr. Elfering replied that he has been
looking at using the swale as part of the Labore drainage plan but it would
require more storm water pipe to get to the swale. He did not think it would
affect the drainage calculations much either way.

It was asked if the assessment numbers provided are close to what the actual
assessment will be. Mr. Elfering answered that the numbers shown are capped
and so they probably wouldn’t change much at all.

At this point the City Administrator asked for the general sentiment on moving forward
with the project. The general sentiment seemed to be for moving forward at this time
though there was a comment that the price was high but the road needed to be done. The
City Administrator said he would pass along the feeling of the neighborhood to the City
Council and a public hearing would be scheduled. The City Administrator thanked the
residents of Labore Avenue for attending the meeting.
