MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />DECEMBER 21, 2016 <br />RESOL UTION NO. 2016-12-213 — RATIFYING 2017 SALARIES AS <br />PRESENTED BY THE CITYADMINISTRA TOR AND AS <br />DISCUSSED AT THE DECEMBER 21, 2016 COUNCIL WORKSHOP <br />MEETING AS PART OF THE CITYADMINISTRATOR'S <br />PERFORMANCE REVIEW <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Fischer. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />PUBLIC Mayor Keis opened the Public Hearing to consider the renewal of the <br />HEARING— following Pawn Brokers License and Second Hand Goods Dealers <br />RENEWAL OF Licenses: <br />PAWN BROKERS <br />& SECOND HAND Pawn Brokers License — <br />GOODS DEALER Lincoln Pawn & Jewelry <br />LICENSES <br />Second Hand Goods Dealers Licenses — <br />Lincoln Pawn & Jewelry <br />Christian Life Ministries <br />Joe's Sporting Goods <br />Quality Furniture <br />Planet Thrift <br />Repeat After Me Bridal Consignment <br />The City Clerk reported that application materials and most background <br />checks are in order. Staff recommends approving these licenses, <br />contingent on Lincoln Pawn & Jewelry paying the fee, and receiving the <br />background check for Richard Peterson, owner of Repeat After Me Bridal <br />Consignment. The Ramsey County Sheriff s Department has indicated that <br />they have no concerns with the issuance of these licenses. <br />There was no one from the public present wishing to comment on this <br />matter. <br />Upon motion by Montour, seconded by McGraw, the public hearing was <br />closed. <br />McGraw introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOL UTION NO. 2016-12-214 — APPROVING THE ISSUANCE OF <br />THE FOLLOWING LICENSES AS RECOMMENDED BY THE CITY <br />CLERK FOR THE LICENSE PERIOD JANUARY 1, 2017 THROUGH <br />DECEMBER 31, 2017, CONTINGENT ONALL FEES PAID AND <br />BACKGROUND CHECKS COMPLETED: <br />0 <br />
