within fifty (50) feet of any building or structure. Exception: Occupancy classification R3 <br />(residential) home heating fuel oil tanks (of 300 gallons or less). <br /> <br />(B) The limits referred to in Section 3406.4 (5706) of the Minnesota State Fire Code <br />in which new bulk plants for flammable or combustible liquids are prohibited, are hereby <br />established as follows: No bulk plants shall be permitted within the corporate limits of the City. <br /> <br />2001.050. ESTABLISHMENT OF LIMITS IN WHICH BULK STORAGE OF <br />LIQUEFIED PETROLEUM GASES IS TO BE RESTRICTED. The limits referred to in Chapter <br />38 (61) of the Minnesota State Fire Code and Chapter 58 of the National Fire Protection <br />Association standards, in which bulk storage of liquefied petroleum gas is restricted, are hereby <br />established as follows: No bulk storage of such gases shall be permitted within the corporate <br />limits of the City. <br /> <br />2001.060. ESTABLISHMENT OF LIMITS OF DISTRICTS IN WHICH STORAGE OF <br />EXPLOSIVES AND BLASTING AGENTS IS TO BE PROHIBITED. The limits referred to in <br />Chapter 3304 (56) of the Minnesota State Fire Code and Minnesota State Statute 299F.72- <br />299F.831, in which storage of explosive and blasting agents is prohibited, are hereby established <br />as follows: No storage of explosives of blasting agents shall be permitted within the corporate <br />limits of the City. <br /> <br />2001.070. ESTABLISHMENT OF MOTOR VEHICLE ROUTES FOR VEHICLES <br />TRANSPORTING EXPLOSIVES AND BLASTING AGENTS. The routes referred to in <br />Chapter 3304 (56) of the Minnesota State Fire Code and Minnesota State Statute 299F.72- <br />299F.831 for vehicles transporting explosives and blasting agents are hereby established as <br />follows: Little Canada Road, both East and West, and Edgerton Street, both North and South. No <br />other streets or roads in the City shall qualify for carrying such materials. <br /> <br />2001.080. ESTABLISHMENT OF MOTOR VEHICLE ROUTES FOR VEHICLES <br />TRANSPORTING HAZARDOUS CHEMICALS OR OTHER DANGEROUS MATERIALS. <br />The routes for vehicles transporting hazardous chemicals or other dangerous materials are hereby <br />established as follows: Little Canada Road, both East and West, and Edgerton Street, both North <br />and South. No other streets or roads in the City shall qualify for carrying such materials. <br /> <br />2001.090. APPEALS. Whenever the Chief shall disapprove an application or refuse to <br />grant a permit applied for, or when it is claimed that the provisions of the Code do not apply or <br />that the true intent and meaning of the Code have been misconstrued or wrongly interpreted, the <br />applicant may appeal from the decision of the Chief to the City Council within thirty (30) days <br />from the date of the decision appealed. <br /> <br />Written Order Appeals: Any person aggrieved by a written order pursuant to section 108.1 of the <br />state fire code may, within fifteen (15) days after service of said notice, appeal therefrom to the <br />board of appeals by filing a written notice of appeal with the city administrator. The appeal shall <br />be heard at such time as may be established by the board. The city council of the City of Little <br />Canada shall serve as and constitute the board of appeals.
