MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JANUARY 23, 2002 <br />Keis felt the parking for the retail seemed too far off. Graham pointed out that the <br />concept is based on placing the building up to the street. He indicated that they tried <br />not to pattern the concept after a strip mall. <br />The Council thanked Sherman Associates for their presentation. <br />At this point in the meeting, 7:20 p.m., the Council recessed the workshop until after <br />its regular meeting. <br />The workshop meeting was reconvened at 8:30 p.m. <br />The Council, Planning Commission, and others present discussed the pros and cons <br />of the various proposals submitted. It was the consensus of those present to focus <br />on Metro Plans and Sherman Associates and call these two groups in for additional <br />discussion on February 13°i at 5 p.m. <br />Upon motion by LaValle, seconded by Montour, the workshop meeting was <br />continued to February 13, 2002 at 5 p.m. <br />The workshop meeting was temporarily adjourned at 9:15 p.m. <br />~ _ <br />~~. <br />'Mic iael I.
