MINUTES Ol? TAE WORKSHOP MELTING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />REI3RUARY 13, 2002 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a workshop meeting of the City Council of <br />Little Canada, Minnesota was reconvened on the 13th day of February, 2002 in the <br />Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Mayor Michael I. Fahey called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m. and the following <br />members of the City Council were present at roll call: <br /> CITY COUNCIL: Mayor Mr. Michael I. Fahey <br /> Council Member Ms. Beverly Scalze <br /> Council Member Mr. Jim LaValle <br /> Council Member Mr. Matt Anderson <br /> Council Member Mr. Rick Montour <br /> ALSO PRESENT: City Administrator Mr. Joel R. Hanson <br /> Planning Comm. Mr. John Keis <br /> Planning Comm. Mr. Dan Knudsen <br /> Planning Comm. Mr. "fom Duray <br /> Planning Comm. Mr. Tom Wojcik <br /> Planning Comm. Mr. Demos Carson <br /> Public Works Dir. Mr. Greg Schroeder <br /> Accounting Supvr. Ms. Shelly Rueckert <br /> Ramsey County Ms. Denise Biegbeder <br /> Ehlers & Assoc. Mr. Mark Ru$' <br /> R. A. Morton Mr. Ron Morton <br /> Deputy Clerk Ms. Kathy Glanzer <br />REDEVELOP- The purpose of tonight's continued workshop meeting is to conduct additional <br />M ENT interviews of the finalists selected for redevelopment of the southeast corner of Rice <br />PROPOSALS Street and Little Canada Road. <br />METRO PLAINS Laverne Hanson, Metro Plains, appeared before the Council and introduced the <br /> development team that they have assembled for the project. Hanson noted that since <br /> the January 23"~ interview, they have added a new member to their team. That <br /> member is Rick Martens from 13rookstone, a commercial developer. i-Janson <br /> introduced the team members as follows: Jean Eide, development coordinator, Rick <br /> Martens, commercial developer, Kirk Velett, architectural consultant, and Larry <br /> Olson, Cinancial resources. Hanson reported that he would serve as the team leader. <br />
