Park System Plan Chapter 3 <br />City of Little Canada, Minnesota Parks and Recreation Plan <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Preliminary Draft: February 27, 2009 3‐5 <br />3. School Recreation Area: School recreation areas are provided <br />by the Roseville Area School District and Saint John the <br />Evangelist School. These recreation areas are intended to serve <br />primarily students, but the community as a whole can use and <br />benefit from these areas. <br />4. Trail: Chapter 4: Trail System Plan classifies and describes <br />existing and planned trails in Little Canada. <br />5. Beach: The Gervais Lake Beach is a facility owned and operated <br />by Ramsey County Parks and Recreation. This facility serves a <br />regional population as well as the residents of Little Canada. <br />Figure 3‐1: Parks and Recreation Plan, shows a map of the <br />neighborhood and community parks in Little Canada. <br />Existing Park and Recreation Areas ‐ 2008 <br />The following provides an inventory and analysis of existing park and <br />recreation areas in Little Canada. It also provides recommendations for <br />enhancing these areas. Table 3‐A: Summary of Facilities in Park and <br />School Recreation Areas ‐ 2008 provides a summary of the recreation <br />facilities in Little Canada in 2008.
