CREATING <br />PUBLIC ACCESS <br />ON SAVAGE <br />LAKE <br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />PARKS & RECREATION COMMISSION <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />November 3, 2016 <br /> <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the Parks & <br />Recreation Commission of the City of Little Canada, Minnesota, was held on <br />the 3rd of November in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 <br />Little Canada Road East in said city. <br /> <br /> Chair Dave Miller called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. and the following <br />members of the commission were present: <br /> <br /> MEMBERS PRESENT: Ms. Rose Chu <br /> Ms. Sharen Darling <br /> Mr. Dave Miller <br /> Mr. Peter Schletty <br /> Ms. Patti Sullivan <br /> <br />ABSENT: Mr. Ron Horwath <br /> Mr. Tom Ray <br /> <br /> ALSO PRESENT: Mr. Jim Morelan, Parks and Rec. Director <br /> Ms. Katie McGinnity, Rec. Supervisor <br /> Mr. Joel Hanson, City Administrator <br /> Mr. Bill Sanders, Parks Consultant <br /> Ms. Vanessa Van Alstine, Cable TV Prod. <br /> Mr. Kevin Schmitz, CTV <br /> <br />Sullivan made a motion to approve the minutes from the October meeting <br />with the correction of the meeting date to October 6th. The minutes stated <br />the meeting was October 5th. Schletty seconded the motion. The motion <br />passed 5 – 0. <br /> <br /> Chair Miller asked if there was any further discussion on the prioritization <br />list. He noted the Commission would be discussing the list with the City <br />Council on November 16th at the joint workshop meeting. The Director <br />explained he had left the list on the agenda to make sure that everyone was <br />comfortable with the order. Chair Miller stated the Commission could <br />look at the list further at the workshop. <br /> <br /> The Director asked the Commission how they would like to gather input <br />from residents regarding creating public access on Savage Lake. Darling <br />asked how the public access was requested.
