SURVEY DRAFT <br />REVIEW: <br />PUBLIC ACCESS <br />ON SAVAGE <br />LAKE <br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />PARKS & RECREATION COMMISSION <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />March 2, 2017 <br /> <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the Parks & <br />Recreation Commission of the City of Little Canada, Minnesota, was held on <br />the 2nd of March in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 <br />Little Canada Road East in said city. <br /> <br /> Chair Dave Miller called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. and the following <br />members of the commission were present: <br /> <br /> MEMBERS PRESENT: Ms. Sharen Darling <br /> Mr. Ron Horwath <br /> Mr. Dave Miller <br /> Mr. Tom Ray <br /> Mr. Peter Schletty <br />Ms. Patti Sullivan <br /> <br /> ABSENT: Ms. Rose Chu <br /> <br /> ALSO PRESENT: Ms. Katie McGinnity, Rec. Supervisor <br /> Mr. Joel Hanson, City Administrator <br /> Mr. Tom Fischer, City Council Member <br /> Ms. Vanessa Van Alstine Cable TV Prod. <br /> Mr. Kevin Helander Cable TV Producer <br /> <br /> <br />Horwath made a motion to approve the minutes from the February <br />meeting. Ray seconded the motion. The motion passed 6 – 0. <br /> <br /> <br /> The City Administrator reported he had updated the survey to reflect the <br />Commission’s comments at the last meeting. The new version also <br />included minor changes suggested by Councilman Fischer. The City <br />Administrator asked the Commission to review the survey for any final <br />changes. He explained the survey would be advertised in the upcoming <br />newsletter. Councilman Fischer stated he had suggested a few wording <br />changes regarding how respondents can take the survey and minor <br />changes to a few of the questions. Horwath agreed the changes made the <br />survey more understandable. Schletty suggested clarifying the $5000 - <br />$10,000 figure would not be an assessment, but rather the money would <br />come from the Parks and Recreation budget. Horwath asked if the <br />Commission had decided to change the word “abut” as discussed at the <br />MINUTES <br />
