<br /> <br /> <br />Memo <br /> <br />TO: Honorable Mayor and City Council <br /> <br />FROM: Lee Elfering, City Engineer <br /> <br />DATE: June 23, 2017 <br /> <br />RE: Grading Permit - 175 County Road B2 East <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Outdoor Labs Landscaping, Inc. has submitted a fill permit for the Canabury <br />Ponds property at 175 County Road B2 East. Included with the application was <br />a plan sheet showing the proposed installation of a rainwater garden between the <br />building parking lot and the sidewalk that runs along the north side of County <br />Road B2 East. The rainwater garden was designed with assistance from the <br />watershed and requires the removal of approximately 370 cubic yard of existing <br />material and replacement with approximately 225 cubic yards of sand and <br />planting soil. We have reviewed the plan and provided comments for minor plan <br />adjustments, a copy of the plan sheet with those comments is attached. City <br />Staff can review and approve fill and grading permits for up to 100 cubic yards of <br />material without Council input, however as the amount of material impacted by <br />this work is over 100 cubic yards the City Council must approve the issuance of <br />this permit. <br /> <br />Based on our review we would recommend the City Council approve the <br />attached “Filling and Grading Permit Application” for 175 County Road B2 East <br />contingent on the applicant addressing the comments on the attached plan.
