<br /> <br /> STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />TO: Mayor Keis & Members of the City Council <br />FROM: Joel Hanson, City Administrator <br />DATE: June 23, 2017 <br /> <br />RE: Keller Parkway Agreement <br /> <br />As you know, Ramsey County Public Works is doing a maintenance project (2” mill & overlay) <br />on Keller Parkway this summer. Part of Keller Parkway is a city street shared by Maplewood <br />and Little Canada. This involves the portion from County Road C to Arcade. The percentage of <br />ownership is 30% Little Canada and 70% Maplewood. As a result, we are responsible for our <br />respective share of that portion of the project. <br /> <br />We discussed this earlier this year. Our cost was estimated at $18,000. The project has now <br />been bid and our costs increased slightly. Our share has now increased to $19,301.05 (7.23%) <br />from the initial estimate. The County had drafted a revised agreement reflecting the increased <br />costs. (A redlined version is attached for your review.) This additional cost can be <br />accommodated within our Infrastructure Replacement Fund (#450). <br /> <br />Staff recommends approval of the revised cooperative agreement with Ramsey County for <br />the resurfacing of Keller Parkway between County Road C and Arcade Street as <br />presented.
