<br />Inventory (Draft July 7) Page 33 <br />Schools <br /> <br />The City of Little Canada is served by the Roseville Area Schools, which serves Aden Hills, Falcon <br />Heights, Little Canada, Lauderdale, Maplewood, Roseville, and Shoreview. The Roseville Area <br />School District has just over 7,500 students. Each year, approximately 30,000 people enroll in <br />Community Education programs and activities offered through the district. <br /> <br />The Roseville Area School District schools include: <br />• 7 Neighborhood Elementary Schools: <br />o Maplewood: Harambee and Edgerton Elementary Schools <br />o Roseville: Brimhall and Central Park Elementary Schools <br />o Shoreview: E.D. Williams in Shoreview <br />o Falcon Heights: Falcon Heights Elementary <br />o Little Canada: Little Canada Elementary <br />• Parkview Center School in Roseville (K – 8) <br />• Roseville Area Middle School (7 – 8) <br />• Fairview Alternative High School in Roseville (9 – 12) <br />• Roseville Area High School (9 – 12) <br />• Roseville Adult Learning Center <br />• 1 Dual language immersion (Spanish) elementary program <br />• 1 K-6 year-round inter-district integration magnet program <br />• Pre-K programs, birth to five <br />Quick facts about the district include: <br />• District K-12 enrollment: 7,525 (Fall 2014) <br />• Student ethnicity: 50% white, 21% Asian, 16% Black, 11% Hispanic, 1% American <br />Indian <br />• 28% of students have languages other than English spoken at home with Spanish, <br />Karen, and Hmong the most prevalent home languages <br />• 46% of students qualify for free or reduced lunches <br />• 85% of teachers have earned at least 15 college credits beyond a bachelor's degree. <br />65% of our teachers hold a master’s degree or higher. Thirteen have earned National <br />Board Certification in Teaching <br />• Roseville Area High School is in the top 2% of Minnesota schools and in the top 4% <br />of the nation’s schools, according to U.S. News and World Report, 2013 <br />• 93% of graduates go on to post-secondary education or the military <br /> <br />Public Buildings <br /> <br />City Hall is located at 515 Little Canada Road East. <br />
