MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCLL <br />MARCH 13, 2002 <br />WORKSHOP The City Administrator recommended that the Council call a workshop <br />WITH MN DOT meeting with MN DOT for April 1Q 2002 at 5:30 p.m. to discuss their <br />694 PROJECT proposed 694 project and the impact that this will have on the Edgerton bridge <br />and elevations of adjacent properties. The Administrator pointed out that in <br />preliminary discussions with MN DOT, it appears they may be willing to <br />construct a storm sewer system to serve a tunnel under Edgerton Street to <br />facilitate a hail connection in that area. MN DOT has indicated that they will <br />address the drainage of that underpass as part of the 694 project. <br />Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption <br />RES'OLDTION NO. 2002-3-60 - CALI_INCi A WORKSHOP FOR APRIL <br />10, 2002 AT 5.30 P.M. W/TAMNDOT TO DISCUS'S THEIR G94 <br />PRO.IECT <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Anderson. <br />Ayes (S) Fahey, Anderson, Montour, LaValle, Scalze. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />Fahey suggested that in developing action plans for addressing 2002 Goals, <br />those plans include an outline of the funding requests the City will be making <br />to the charities. Fahey pointed out that completion of the City's trail system is <br />a high priority and one example where assistance of the charities is needed to <br />accomplish this goal. <br />THUNDER Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />13AY - <br />SISTER CITY RESOI,U%70NN0. 2002-3-61 -A(ITIIORI7.ING A DELEGATION <br />EXCHANGE OF THE MAYOR, COUNC/I, MEMBER ANDERSON, ANU THE C'7TY <br />ADMINLS'TRATOR AND SPOUSES AT THUNDER BAY'S SISTER CITY <br />EXCHANGE /N EAR/. Y MA Y <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, LaValle, Fahey, Montour, Anderson. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />ADJOURN Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOI_ U770N NO. 2002-3-62 - AD./OURNING <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Fahey. <br />Ayes (S) LaValle, Fahey, Scalze, Anderson, Montour. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />
