Gervais Mill Park garden – $51,750 <br />2. Pioneer Park – planting new trees by pond – $5,750 <br />3. Spooner Park play area improvements – $115,000 <br />4. Pioneer Park play area improvements – $115,000 <br />5. Powerline Centerville/County Road D trail - Phase 1-Payne to Edgerton – $31,050 <br />6. Powerline Centerville/County Road D trail – Phase 2 Edgerton to Pioneer with a safe <br />crossing on Edgerton – $138,000 <br />7. Thunder Bay Park Information Sign – $1,500 <br />8. Repurpose Demont Rink to Accommodate Dog Park – $3,450 <br />9. Repurpose a tennis court into a pickleball court – $17,250 - Note: We added Pioneer to <br />this expense for an additional $8250 <br />10. Spooner park entrance monument sign at Centerville Rd and Eli Road – $17,250 <br />11. Replacement of lower shelter at Spooner Park, run water and sewer – $419,750 <br />12. Install trail - Country Drive & South Owasso loop along waterworks trail – $250,000 <br />13. Pioneer Park – install a flag pole with lighting at entrance – $6,900 <br />14. Pioneer Park – install new drinking fountain near tennis courts – $23,000 <br />Other items to be considered: <br /> Gervais Mill Park Drinking Fountain – $10,000 <br /> Noel Drive Sidewalk – City Hall Lot to Gervais Trail – ?? <br /> Waterworks, Sextant, and Sunset Court Trail Loop – $230,000 <br /> Reforestation for All Parks – $25,000 per year <br /> Purchase of Sculley Property for Nature Area - $275,000 <br /> Other??? <br /> <br />As you know, a number of the items have been delayed pending the completion of the Parks Master <br />Plan. <br /> <br />The Council also approved a transfer from the General Fund to the General Capital Improvement Fund <br />of $496,472. With this influx of cash plus the receipt of Local Government Aid expected to be at least <br />$243,000, this fund is in a much better position going forward when compared to last year. However, <br />there are many needs on a city-wide basis that will be competing for these funds in an overall funding <br />priority. <br />At Wednesday’s meeting, we can take another look at the prioritization and modify the listing as you <br />deem appropriate. <br />
