2 <br /> <br /> <br />EXHIBIT A <br /> <br />Scope of Services <br />2017 City of Little Canada Deer Management Program <br /> <br />November 2, 2017 <br /> <br />Metro Bowhunters Resource Base (MBRB) is to provide hunt management services as delineated below or as <br />would be necessary to help the City achieve its goal of a reduction in deer population while recognizing the <br />need to maintain a high degree of professionalism and sensitivity to public concerns associated with deer <br />hunting. <br /> <br />MBRB Activities: <br /> <br />● Provide a group of MBRB qualified archers <br />● Provide certificate of liability insurance with the City named as an “additional insured” covering a period <br />from November 15 through December 31, 2017. Certificates of insurance will also be provided to St. John’s <br />Church of Little Canada, St. Paul Regional Water Services, and the City of Maplewood. <br />● Assist City staff at Hunt Orientation Check-in and Meeting on 11/9/2017 at 6:00 p.m. <br />● Conduct deer hunting on the following (tentative) dates: November 17-19 and December 1 - 3. <br />● Gather hunt data from each participant each day consisting of the number of deer taken by sex and location <br />and the number of unrecovered deer. <br />● Provide City a verbal report on hunt progress and issues as needed no later than 24 hours following the <br />conclusion of each hunt period. <br />● Administer hunt in accordance with hunt rules and other procedures necessary for a safe and orderly hunt. <br />● Assist in tracking and recovery of deer that are reported hit by archers. <br />● Provide liaison with the City and the Ramsey County Sheriff’s Departement so that there is one point of <br />contact for all hunting activities. <br />● Report rule infractions and other pertinent incidents (such as unauthorized hunt area visitors) to City and <br />Ramsey County Sheriff’s Departement. <br />● Comply with the Hunt Rules as attached to this document. <br />● Send final summary report of hunt data to City staff by January 10, 2017. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
