Resolution declared adopted. <br />FIREWORKS The City Attorney presented a proposed ordinance regulating the sale of <br />SALES fireworks within the City of Little Canada. The City Attorney pointed out <br />that the license fee proposed for this activity is $1,150 per year. <br />Anderson recommended modifications to the ordinance, specifically <br />Section 820.060 (L) and (F) and Section 820.070 (C). The City Attorney <br />indicated that he will make the changes as discussed. <br />Mr_ Anderson introduced Che following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2002-6-I39 -ADOPTING AN ORDINANCE <br />ADD/NC CHAPTER 820 OF THE MUNICIPA/. CODE OF TILE CITY <br />OF /_/T'TI,E CANADA, REGULAT/NG FIREWOR/fS WITHIN THE <br />C/I'Y OF LITTLE CANADA, AND ES"I'AB7_ISI/ING AN ANNUA/_ <br />LICENSE FEE OF $1,150.00 <br />The foregoing ordinance was duly seconded by Fahey, <br />Ayes (5) Anderson, Pahey, Scalze, Montour, LaValle. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />Roger Schiltz, All American Recreation, expressed concern with the <br />ordinance limitation on the amount of freworks materials that can be <br />displayed or stored at a site. Schiltz, felt fhe limitation was too restrictive <br />and should be increased. Schiltz also reported that only one other city that <br />they do business in has a freworks ordinance in place at this time. <br />Council discussed Schiltz's concerns and felt that they would leave a <br />decision on this issue up to the Fire Chief Therefore, the previous <br />ordiuance approval should be rescinded and an ordinance readopted with <br />finalization of the amount left to the Little Canada Fire Chief. <br />
