Homebrew Review 2018 <br />The Homebrew Review is a way for twin cities residents to sample craft beer from local homebrewers while <br />raising funds for a local non-profit. <br />Details: <br />● 15 - 20 local homebrewers will have the chance to showcase their favorite homebrew recipe. They will <br />be asked to bring one (1) 5 gallon batch bottled or in a keg. <br />● Tickets will be managed through Eventbrite, attendance capped at 200, with donation options available: <br />○Freeloader ($0-$19): All are welcome and donations are at will, but come on... we've got <br />baseline expenses to pay. Expect public mockery and horrible service <br />○Kindred Spirit ($20+): Yes, Thank You! You love beer + helping good causes. We're going to <br />have an awesome time. <br />○VIP ($100+): You Rock! As a special thanks we'll give you early access to the event & access to <br />some special brews by award winning homebrewers <br />○Big Friggin' Deal ($500+): Roll out the Red Carpet! You get VIP status and a free keg of <br />homebrew for your next shindig (subject to some fine print) <br />● Attendees will be given a ‘passport’ describing each homebrew, and able to sample a 2 ounce portion <br />of each. <br />● Attendees will be able to vote for their 3 favorite homebrews, the winning homebrewer(s) will receive a <br />prize. <br />● In attendance will also be certified Beer Judges. Beer judges will also select a winning homebrewer to <br />receive a prize. <br />● All proceeds after expenses from the event will be donated to the non-profit organization partner. <br />● Sponsors will be sought to help fund the event, with logo on website and special recognition. $500+ <br />sponsor will be able to have presence at event (eg booth) <br />● Raffle a plus! <br />● GCB will be allowed a booth for publicity and merch sales. <br />Logistics: <br />● Location (Restrooms or Portable Facilities) <br />● Permit to serve alcohol <br />● Ticket & ID check @ entrance <br />● Company sponsors <br />● Awards/Prizes <br />● Tables/tents <br />● Beer serving (jockey boxes, ice/coolers) <br />● Food truck(s)/caterer, tables to eat at <br />● Homebrewer sign up <br />● Attendee sign up <br />● Marketing, Design
