MINUTES
CITY COUNCIL
OCTOBER 9, 2002
Montour noted that in the City of St. Paul, Edgerton Street was reconstructed and a
bike lane was installed on one side of the street. It was noted that there is no parking
along both sides of Edgerton Street in Little Canada, and there is a paved shoulder
area along the street. Scalze asked how wide this shoulder was as well as how wide
the paved on-street path was in St. Paul. Sackett Glaser estimated that the standard
path with was either six or eight feet.
The Council asked the Parks & Recreation Commission to take another look at the
issues and alternatives relating to the Power Line Trail from Payne Avenue to Desoto
and make a recommendation.
Upon motion by Fahey, seconded by Montour, the workshop meeting was adjourned
at 7:10 p.m.
Mi h el I. Fahey, Mayor
Attest:
Joe R. Hanson, City Administrator
