MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JUNE 27, 2018 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by McGraw. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution adopted. <br />At this point in the meeting, the City Council temporarily <br />adjourned and reconvened as the Economic Development Authority in order <br />to consider approving amendments to the purchase agreement with Q3 <br />Contracting, Inc. and sale documents for two city -owned cell tower leases. <br />Keis introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOL UTION NO. 2018-6-138 — RECESSING THE CITY COUNCIL <br />MEETING AND CONVENING AS THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT <br />AUTHORITY <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution adopted. <br />Torkelson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2018-6-139 — APPOINTING BILL DIRCKS AS THE <br />ACTING SECRETARYAND ACTING ASSISTANT TREASURER OF <br />THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT A UTHORITY <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution adopted. <br />Q3 <br />The City Attorney explained that the City is selling the properties at 53 and <br />CONTRACTING, <br />167 South Owasso Boulevard to Q3 Contracting. He noted that the sale was <br />INC. AMENDED <br />supposed to close by June 30, but some issues have come up. He stated that <br />PURCHASE <br />the contingency period actually runs through July 11, so the closing should <br />AGREEMENT <br />occur after this period is over. He reported that a fuel oil tank was <br />FOR 53 & 167 <br />discovered on the site and should be removed at the expense of the City. <br />SOUTH OWASSO <br />The City Attorney explained that the outstanding issues are if any problems <br />BOULEVARD <br />are found after removing the tank, that dealing with the site's stormwater <br />does not have a resolution yet, the access easements for the cell towers have <br />not been verified, and the buyer has not seen or agreed to these easements. <br />The City Attorney explained that at this point the Council should agree to <br />move the closing to August 31, 2018, and the contingency date to August <br />31, 2018, to make sure the removal of the fuel tank is done with no other <br />VA <br />
