<br /> <br /> STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />TO: Mayor Keis and Members of City Council <br /> FROM: Heidi Heller, City Clerk <br /> <br />DATE: June 21, 2018 <br /> <br />RE: Appoint Bill Dircks as Acting City Administrator and Acting EDA Secretary <br /> <br /> <br />After June 22, the City Administrator position will be vacant until a new administrator is hired. <br />A team of City Staff will manage during the interim, but both the Mayor and Administrator are <br />the required signers on most city documents, and a land sale will be occurring soon. Staff is <br />requesting that the City Council appoint Bill Dircks, Public Works Director, as Acting City <br />Administrator and Acting EDA Secretary in order to have a person with the authority to sign <br />documents on behalf of the City and Economic Development Authority during the interim. <br /> <br /> <br />
