<br />CITY OF LITTLE CANADA <br />RESOLUTION TO ESTABLISH AN ABSENTEE BALLOT BOARD <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Minnesota Statute 203B.121, Subd. 1 requires the governing body of each city that <br />administers absentee voting to establish an absentee ballot board for the purpose of processing <br />and counting absentee ballots; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the members of the absentee ballot board must be election judges who have been <br />trained in the processing of absentee ballots; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Little Canada hereby establishes and <br />absentee ballot board for the processing and counting of absentee ballots for the City of Little <br />Canada; <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Council authorized the City Clerk to make <br />appointments of election judges, including City elections staff who have been trained as election <br />judges, to the absentee ballot board in accordance with the requirements of State Law and to take <br />any other action necessary to ensure the proper administration of the absentee ballot board. <br /> <br /> <br />Adopted this 11th day of July, 2018 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ____________________________________ <br /> John T.
