Page 2
6. How long do you think this project will take? (i.e. 1 day, 2 days, 2 weekends?)
• We expect the project to take 2 days with the help of the Boy Scout Troop and friends.
7. What will you do with the old pants and mulch that is removed?
• The materials removed will be placed on the street next to the rain garden to be hauled away
by the City of Little Canada.
8. Will the plants be purchased through the Watershed or a local nursery?
• No. All plants and mulch will be purchased with the help of the Watershed District by me
through our Troop account. The City of Little Canada would write a check to Troop 462 and
payment would be made through there. Sage said she would help with the process.
9. Have you looked at other nurseries to make sure the prices are competitive?
• Yes, I have and the prices are by far the lowest of any place.
10. Will you be asking the City for any money to help complete the project?
i. Yes.
• If so, how much?
i. Since the price has been lowered dramatically I am asking for the full amount. $255.99.
• Will any of the money be raised from you?
i. I will need to raise money for drinks, food, sunscreen, garbage bags and any other
needs that come up. The Watershed District said they can provide various tools and
gloves.
11. Do you have volunteers that will help with the project?
• Yes, most of Troop 462, friends and family will help with the project.
If you need anything else please let me know and I’ll be happy to talk.
Sincerely,
Benjamin Belin
612-886-5390
