CITY OF LITTLE CANADA <br />RAMSEY COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />ORDINANCE NO. 830 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 903.110 OF THE LITTLE CANADA CITY <br />CODE, KNOWN AS THE ZONING CODE. <br />SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Little Canada hereby amends Section 903.110, <br />known as Zoning Code, General Provisions, to modify Section 903.110.E, by adding the <br />underlined material and deleting the stricken material as follows: <br />E.District Regulations. The following sections concern signs which require application and <br />permit. Subject to other regulations in specific districts, no sign shall be located closer <br />than five (5) feet to any property line. <br />1."R-1" and "R-2" Residential Districts, and “P” Public District: <br />a.Institutional or area identification signs (monument type only), provided <br />that the gross square footage of sign area does not exceed twenty-four (24) <br />square feet in the “R-1” and “R-2 Districts, and thirty-two (32) square feet <br />in the “P” District. If the sign is freestanding, the height shall not exceed <br />eight (8) feet. <br />b.If the sign is freestanding, the height shall not exceed eight (8) feet and <br />monument type only would be allowed. <br />c.In the case of a corner lot in the “P” District, each frontage shall qualify <br />for up to thirty-two square feet of signage. The square footage allowed <br />may be combined and displayed on one elevation. <br />SECTION 2.
