MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />SEPTEMBER 13, 2018 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the Planning <br />Commission of Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the 13th day of <br />September, 2018 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 <br />Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Chair Bill Buesing called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and the <br />following members of the Planning Commission were present at roll call: <br />PLANNING COMMISSION:Mr. Bill Buesing <br />Mr. Chris Kwapick <br />Mr. Eric Thorson <br />Ms. Dawn Kulousek <br />Ms. Nicole George <br />Mr. Nick Schwalbach <br />Ms. Taelor Johnson <br />ALSO PRESENT:Ms. Jessica Jagoe, Associate Planner <br />Ms. Heidi Heller, City Clerk <br />Mr. Kevin Helander, Cable TV <br /> <br />The August 9, 2018 Planning Commission meeting minutes were approved <br />as submitted. <br />The Associate Planner reported that property owner, Russ Fischer, has <br />requested to have the Interim Use Permit at 200-208 Ryan Drive reissued <br />for another five year period. She explained that in June 2013, the City <br />approved an Interim Use Permit for Mr. Fischer to allow off-site outdoor <br />storage to non-tenants of the building. She noted that the City Code states <br />that an Interim Use Permit cannot be issued for more than a five year <br />period. She stated that a site plan was submitted by Mr. Fischer that shows <br />the layout of the outdoor storage that exists on the property, and the <br />proposed layout is the same as the previous approval. She reported that the <br />non-tenants who will be occupying the outdoor storage area are Freddy’s <br />Tree Service and Great Northern Petroleum. The Associate Planner <br />explained that the outdoor storage area to the east side of the building at <br />200-208 Ryan Drive will be a designated overflow outdoor storage area for <br />both non-tenants. It should be noted that Mr. Fischer does have a <br />Conditional Use Permit that allows for accessory outdoor storage to tenants <br />of the building. Metro Cleaning is a tenant of the building and also shares <br />RE-ISSUE INTERIM <br />USE PERMIT AT <br />200-208 RYAN <br />DRIVE; PROPERTY <br />OWNER RUSS <br />FISCHER <br />MINUTES
