MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />OCTOBER 29, 2018 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the City Council <br />of Little Canada, Minnesota was convened on the 29"' day of October, 2018 <br />in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 Little Canada <br />Road in said City. <br />Mayor John Keis called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and the following <br />members of the City Council were present at roll call: <br />CITY COUNCIL: Mayor <br />Mr. John Keis <br />Council Member <br />Mr. Tom Fischer <br />Council Member <br />Mr. Christian Torkelson <br />Council Member <br />Mr. Mike McGraw <br />Council Member <br />Mr. Rick Montour <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Administrator <br />Mr. Chris Heineman <br />Assoc. Serv. <br />Mr. Bryce Shearen <br />City Clerk <br />Ms. Heidi Heller <br />Cable TV Producer <br />Mr. Kevin Helander <br />ANNOUNCEMENTS The City Clerk announced that the Little Canada location for Early Voting <br />has been moved from 5 South Owasso Boulevard to City Hall. She <br />explained that Early Voting will begin on Tuesday, October 30 and run <br />through Monday, November 5. She noted that voting will be open until 6:00 <br />p.m. Tuesday through Friday and also on Saturday, November 3 from 9:00 <br />a.m. to 3:00 p.m. She stated that any Ramsey County resident will be able <br />to vote at Little Canada City Hall during the Early Voting period. <br />PUBLIC HEARING — <br />The Associate Planner reported that at the September 12 Council meeting, <br />AMENDMENT TO <br />the City Council made the recommendation to approve the Planned Unit <br />THE PUD ZONING <br />Development Amendment at 2925 Country Drive to allow for a charter <br />DISTRICT TO <br />school to be permitted in the PUD District. She reviewed the list of <br />ALLOW A CHARTER <br />conditions that the Council included with their approval. She explained that <br />SCHOOL AT 2925 <br />this motion included direction for city staff to prepare a zoning code <br />COUNTRY DRIVE; <br />amendment establishing a special PUD District. She reported that since the <br />APPLICANT: AFSA <br />October Planning Commission meeting, staff has met with the Fire Marshal <br />SCHOOL, 100 <br />and Fire Chief, who have asked for some site plan modifications to widen <br />VADNAIS <br />the fire lanes, along with the City Engineer who has determined that there <br />BOULEVARD; <br />PROPERTY OWNER <br />DICK BIAGINI <br />
