7 <br /> <br />2. Preservation of Vegetation <br /> <br />a. No person shall injure, cut, destroy, mutilate, uproot, disturb, or remove any <br />flower, tree, shrub, or any plant whether wild or cultivated, or any part <br />thereof. <br /> <br />b. No person shall plant or cause to be planted any wild, cultivated or exotic <br />tree, shrub or plant except in specifically designated areas with the written <br />permission of the City. <br /> <br />c. No person shall fell or climb any tree; pick any flowers, fruit or vegetable <br />(not self-grown); trample any flowers, tree seedlings, flower beds, vegetable <br />gardens or new turf seedlings. <br /> <br />d. No person shall hitch any animal or fasten, anchor or otherwise attach any <br />wire, rope, cable, signs, posters, or other articles to any tree, shrub or plant. <br /> <br />e. No person shall make any unauthorized use of any park which is detrimental <br />to the turf and soil conditions. <br /> <br />f. No person shall remove any device, apparatus or material installed for the <br />protection, support, or preservation of any tree, shrub or plant. <br /> <br />2. Animals. <br /> <br />a. No person shall intentionally disturb, frighten, or kill any birds, wildlife, or <br />animals kept or found in any park. owning, being in custody, or having <br />control of any animal, whether wild, pet or domestic, shall cause or allow <br />such animal to roam or be at large in any park. <br /> <br />b. No person in custody of any pet or animal shall allow said animal to disturb, <br />harass or interfere with other park users or their property. All dogs, pets or <br />domesticated animals must be on a harness or leash, or in an approved <br />designated off-leash pet exercise area operated by the City. No owner or <br />person in custody of a pet shall suffer or permit the pet to defecate upon <br />public property without immediately removing the excrement and disposing <br />of it in a sanitary manner. <br /> <br />c. The City may approve other animals within the park for a City sponsored <br />event or program. <br /> <br />c. Any unattended domestic animal or pet found roaming or at large within any <br />park shall be impounded. <br /> <br />d. All state and local ordinances relating to the licensing and muzzling of <br />animals and pets shall apply to same brought into any park. <br />
