MINUTES OF THE WORKSHOP MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />MARCH 27, 2019 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a workshop meeting of the City Council <br />of Little Canada, Minnesota was convened on the 27"' day of March, 2019 in the <br />Conference Room of the City Center located at 515 Little Canada Road in said <br />City. <br />Mayor John Keis called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. and the following <br />members of the City Council were present at roll call: <br />CITY COUNCIL: <br />Mayor <br />Council Member <br />Council Member <br />Council Member <br />Council Member <br />ALSO PRESENT: <br />City Administrator <br />City Clerk <br />Mr. John Keis <br />Mr. Tom Fischer <br />Mr. Rick Montour <br />Mr. Christian Torkelson <br />Mr. Mike McGraw <br />Mr. Chris Heineman <br />Ms. Heidi Heller <br />Mayor Keis stated that the purpose of this evening's workshop is to conduct the <br />6-month review of City Administrator Chris Heineman. <br />CITY Keis stated that this is more of a mid -year checkpoint to make sure that any <br />ADMINISTRATOR concerns are addressed and Chris is moving in the right direction. <br />6-MONTH <br />REVIEW Keis stated that he feels Chris has done a good job with communication to both <br />the Council and staff, and is available to staff whenever they need something. <br />Torkelson stated that he has no concerns with Chris and has only had positive <br />experiences with him. McGraw stated that he has been more than pleased with <br />what Chris has done so far. Fischer stated he was happy with how Chris handled <br />the transition with the finance director leaving and prioritizing what had to be <br />done right now. Montour stated Chris should keep doing what he's doing. <br />Keis stated that Chris is very open and willing to talk about new ideas. He noted <br />that they meet weekly and he is kept well informed. Torkelson and Fischer both <br />appreciate the timely responses to their questions. <br />
