MINUTES OF THE WORKSHOP MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />MAY 8, 2019 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a workshop meeting of the City Council <br />of Little Canada, Minnesota was convened on the 81h day of May, 2019 in the <br />Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 Little Canada Road in said <br />City. <br />Mayor John Keis called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m. and the following <br />members of the City Council were present at roll call: <br />CITY COUNCIL: <br />Mayor <br />Council Member <br />Council Member <br />Council Member <br />Council Member <br />ALSO PRESENT: <br />City Administrator <br />Finance Director <br />City Clerk <br />Parks & Rec/Comm. Planner/Code Enforcement <br />Public Works Director <br />Planning Commission Chair <br />Parks & Rec Commission Chair <br />Hue Life <br />Mr. John Keis <br />Mr. Tom Fischer <br />Mr. Christian Torkelson <br />Mr. Mike McGraw <br />Mr. Rick Montour <br />Mr. Chris Heineman <br />Ms. Brenda Malinowski <br />Ms. Heidi Heller <br />Mr. Bryce Shearen <br />Ms. Jessica Jagoe <br />Mr. Bill Dircks <br />Mr. Bill Buesing <br />Mr. Dave Miller <br />Mr. Richard Fursman <br />Mayor Keis stated that the purpose of this evening's workshop is for the first <br />session of the 2019 Strategic Planning. <br />2019 STRATEGIC The City Administrator explained that the strategic planning sessions will be <br />PLANNING used to plan the City's direction over the next five years, and give the Council <br />and Staff direction in order to achieve the goals. Richard Fursman, Hue Life, <br />introduced the process that would be used for sessions tonight and on Saturday. <br />He noted that at the end of the process when the goals were determined, the <br />group would then create a calendar in order to continue working towards the <br />City's goals. <br />
