MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />MAY 11, 2019 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a Special Meeting of the City Council of <br />Little Canada, Minnesota was convened on the 11t1i day of May, 2019 in the <br />Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 Little Canada Road in said <br />City. <br />Mayor John Keis called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m. and the following <br />members of the City Council were present at roll call: <br />CITY COUNCIL: <br />Mayor <br />Council Member <br />Council Member <br />Council Member <br />Council Member <br />ALSO PRESENT: <br />City Administrator <br />Finance Director <br />y Mr. John Keis <br />City Clerk <br />Parks & Rec/Comm. Planner/Code Enforcement <br />Public Works Director <br />Planning Commission Chair <br />Parks & Rec Commission Chair <br />Hue Life <br />Hue Life <br />Mr. Torn Fischer <br />Mr. Christian Torkelson <br />Mr. Mike McGraw <br />Mr. Rick Montour <br />Mr. Chris Heineman <br />Ms. Brenda Malinowski <br />Ms. Heidi Heller <br />Mr. Bryce Shearen <br />Ms. Jessica Jagoe <br />Mr. Bill Dircks <br />Mr. Bill Buesing <br />Mr. Dave Miller <br />Mr. Richard Fursman <br />Ms. Irina Fursman <br />Mayor Keis stated that the purpose of today's workshop is the second session of <br />2019 Strategic Planning. <br />2019 STRATEGIC Richard Fursman and Irina Fursman, Hue Life, reviewed what had been <br />PLANNING accomplished at the session on May 8 and what the process would be for today. <br />Ms. Fursman stated that the group will be talking about creating a vision and <br />planning for the next three to five years in order for Little Canada to be the best <br />community possible. The group reviewed what is blocking us from moving <br />toward our vision and what innovative, substantial actions will deal with the <br />underlying contradictions and move us toward our vision.
