MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />MAY 9, 2019 <br /> <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the Planning <br />Commission of Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the 9th day of <br />May, 2019 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 Little <br />Canada Road in said City. <br /> <br />Chair Bill Buesing called the meeting to order at 6:45 p.m. and the <br />following members of the Planning Commission were present at roll call: <br /> <br />PLANNING Mr. Bill Buesing <br />COMMISSION: Mr. Chris Kwapick <br /> Mr. Nick Schwalbach <br />Ms. Taelor Johnson <br />Ms. Dawn Kulousek <br /> Ms. Nicole George <br />Mr. Eric Thorson <br /> <br /> ALSO PRESENT: Ms. Jessica Jagoe, Assoc. Planner/Code Enf. <br /> Mr. Chris Heineman, City Administrator <br /> <br /> <br />The January 10, 2019 Planning Commission meeting minutes were <br />approved as submitted. <br /> <br /> <br />The Associate Planner explained that On Site Sanitation is applying for a <br />variance and text amendment to consider an Interim Use Permit for <br />redevelopment of the property at 32 South Owasso Boulevard. She noted <br />that the property is currently owned by Erdmanis, LLP and is occupied by <br />Buck Blacktop. She stated that Mr. Holm, owner of On-Site Sanitation, <br />has indicated that he intends to purchase the property if he receives city <br />approval. The Associate Planner explained that On-Site Sanitation owns <br />two other properties in Little Canada along Woodlynn Avenue, and they <br />would retain ownership of both and operations would continue in the same <br />manner. This third property would be part of their business plan to <br />consolidate to one central location in the metro area. <br /> <br />The Associate Planner explained that this site is 4.2 acres and is zoned I-P, <br />Industrial Park. She stated that this property was rezoned from I-1, Light <br />Industrial to I-P, Industrial Park in 1988.
