MINiJTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING
PLANNING COMMISSION
LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA
JULY 12, 2001
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the Planning
Commission of Little Canada, Minnesota was held ou the 12°i day of
July, 2001 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515
Little Canada Road in said City.
Chair John Keis called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and the
following members of the Planning Commission were present at roll call:
PLANNING COMMISSION: M. r. Scott Barraclough
Mr. Dennis Carson
Mr. Tom Duray
Mr. John Keis
Mr. Dan Knudsen
Mr. Thomas Roycraft
Mr. Tom Wojcik
ALSO PR>/SI;NT: Mr. Steve Grittman, City Planner
Ms. Kathy Glanzer, Deputy Clerk
MINUTES The minutes of the June 14, 2001 Planning Commission meeting were
approved with one correction. In the resolution recommending approval
of the Frattalone PUP Permit, the recommendation was fora "right" turn
only onto Rice Street.
CUP FOR Neil Webster, 2808 Noel Drive, appeared before the Commission
GARAGE - requesting approval of a Conditional Use Permit to allow him to
2808 NOEL construct a 1,500 square foot garage at 2808 Noel Drive. The garage
DRIVE - would be 25 feet by 60 feet. Webster reported that he would be removing
NEIL WEBSTER the existing one car garage from the property as well as another shed
structure. Barraclough noted that there is another partial structure on the
property, and it was his feeling that all three garage/shed structw'es should
be removed. The Commission agreed.
Webster reported that he would match the exterior of the garage as close
as possible to the house. I-Ie pointed out that he would be putting vinyl
siding on the garage. Since it comes in colors he may not be able to get an
exact color match, but he will get it as close as possible.
I{eis as]<ed about the potential for another lot between these two houses.
Webster reported that there was another lot between his and Rich
Campana~•o's house. However, that lot was divided in two, with half
combined with the Campanaro property and half combined with his
property.
