1VIINUTES OF TIIE REGIILAI2 MEETING <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />SEPTEMBER I3, 2001 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the Planning <br />Commission of Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the 13'x' day of <br />September, 2001 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at <br />515 Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Chair John Keis called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and <br />the following members of the Planning Co~mnission were present at roll <br />call: <br />PLANNING COMMISSION: <br />Mi. Thomas Roycraft <br />Mr. Tom Wojcik <br />ABSENT: <br />ALSO PRIrSENT: <br />Mr. Scott Barraclough <br />Mr. Tom Duray <br />Mr. Steve Grittman, City Planner <br />Ms. I{athy Glanzer, Deputy Clerk <br />MINUTES The minutes of the August 'I6, 2001 Planning Commission meeting were <br />approved as submitted. <br />ATTENDANCE Knudsen indicated that he felt it appropriate that there be a waiver of the <br />~POLICX attendance policy for the month of August given that the regular meeting <br />date was changed. <br />MOMENT OF The Planning Commission observed a moment of silence iu honor of those <br />SILENCE Killed in the recent attacks on the United States. <br />CUP - Jeff Meyer, J & 12 Investments, owner of the shopping center at 2750-2756 <br />2750-2756 Lakeshore Avenue, appeared before the Commission requesting approval <br />LAKESFIORE of a Conditional Use Permit to allow placement of signage on a multi- <br />AVENUE tenant building. Meyer reported that the shopping center cwrently has two <br />tenants (Rocco's Pizza and Anderson Cleaners) and is adding two more (a <br />thrift store and beauty salon). Additional signage is needed for the thrift <br />store and beauty salon. <br />Knudsen pointed out that Rocco's Pizza currently has two signs on the <br />side of the building. Ile asked if one would be eliminated. Meyer replied <br />
