MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />MARCH 14, 2001 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) Montour, Scalze, LaValle, Fahey, Anderson. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />JACKSON The City Administrator reported that the Parks & Recreation Commission <br />STREET has recommended improvement of the Jackson Street path to the Water <br />PATH Works property. Staff is recommending that this work be included as a bid <br />alternate along with the street and parking lot work that will be done this year. <br />The Administrator noted that the proposed grade of the trail will not meeting <br />ADA requirements and it is virtually impossible to do so within the confines of <br />the property boundaries. However, the grade follows the natural topography of <br />the area. The City is not required to meet ADA requirements. <br />Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTIONNO. 2001-3-70 -AUTHORIZING THE <br />ADVERTISEMENT FOR BID.4 FOR JACKSON STREET TRAIL WORK <br />AS PROPOSED BY CITY STAFF <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (5) Fahey, LaValle, Montour, Anderson, Scalze. <br />Nays (0).
