MINUTES
CITY COUNCIL
JUNU 27, 2001
Scalze asked if there was a need to rezone the'Rice Street parce] to PUD.
Fahey asked if Frattalone intends to combine the parcels. Frattalone repotted
that he has not gotten that far in the process. He noted that the .Rice Street site
was included as part of his concept plan.
Fahey asked if there was anyone from the general public who wished to
comment on this matter. There was not.
Montour pointed out that the size of the buildings have increased and asked if
the amount of outdoor storage increased as well. Frattalone reported that the
amount of outdoor storage will remain the same. Frattalone noted that
increasing the size of the building results in more equipment being stored
inside. Frattalone indicated that he currently has about one acre of outdoor
storage and would have 2 acres at the new site.
Scalze expressed concern that the outdoor storage is not designated on the site
plan.
Fahey asked how long before the City could have a response from the
Watershed on the drainage issues. Frattalone reported that the Watershed has a
meeting scheduled for July 'I6'~'. It was noted that the Parks & Recreation
Commission meets on June 28'x' and the trail matter can be immediately
referred to them for comment.
Fahey felt that the matter should be tabled until the next meeting so that the
Council can be provided with additional information relative to the questions
raised this evening. Fahey agreed that outdoor storage should be clearly
marked on the site plan. Fahey asked that the ,Public Works Director contact
the Watershed relative to the drainage questions raised.
Scalze also noted that the plans the Council has do not show elevations. Scalze
asked for the following additional information:
'`Delineation of outdoor storage areas;
'`Watershed comments;
*Parks & Recreation Commission recommendation;
MPlanner's comments related to access to Rice Street as well as
access between the two parcels.
Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESO7 UT7ON NO. 2001-6-126 -TABLING ACTION ON 7HE PLANNED
UNIT I)EVE] OPMENT PERMIT TO AI_I OW CONb'TRUCTION OF AN
1NDU.STRIAI./OFFICE COMPLEX REQUESTED BY FRANK
