Resolution declared adopted.
CUP'S TOR Scalze pointed out the discussion of the Planning Commission relative to
ACCESSORY conditional use permits for accessory garages as well as her concern that
GARAGES these garages could be used by property owners for work on vehicles, etc. for
other than immediate family.
The City Planner noted that his reports reference that use of these garages is
limited to personal vehicles. If vehicles other than those owned personally by
the property owner are being stored or worked on in these garages, this would
technically be a violation of the CUP. While it is a policing issues, the City
would have the authority to revoke a CUP and order the building removed.
Scalze suggested that the approval notification form sent to property owners
include the conditions of approval and that the property owner be required to
sign a copy of the form and return iC for the City's records. That form should
also reference that violation of these conditions could result in revocation of
the CUP.
