MINOTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />MAY 23, 2001 <br />BIDS FOR The Public Works Director reviewed his report dated May 18, 2001 <br />MAPLE LANE relating to bids for the Maple Lane Trail improvement and the St. John's <br />TRAIL/ST. parking lot improvement. The Director reported that the bids received are <br />JOHN'S higher than if the City included the work as parrt of the 200] street <br />PARKING LOT reconstruction work being done by T.A. Schifsky & Sons. Therefore, he <br />recommended that the bids be rejected and the work awarded to T. A. Schifsky <br />& Sons. <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOI UTION NO. 2007-5-116 - RE.IECTING 73IDS FOR THE MAPLE <br />LANE TRAIL/ST..IOHN'S PARKIN(; LOT PROJECT AS <br />RECOMMENDED ]3Y THE PDI37.IC WORKS DIRECTOR AND <br />AWARDING TIIE ALTERNATE TU T. SCHIFSKY & SONS AS PART <br />OF THE 2001 STREET 12ECONSTRUCTIONRND UTILITY <br />IMPROVEMENT WORX <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, Montour, Fahey, LaValle, Anderson. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />CANCEL Mayor Fahey suggested that the June 13°i Council meeting be cancelled <br />JANE 13, due to the typically light agendas that the Council has at their first <br />2001 COUNCIL meeting of the month. Fahey indicated that, if need be, a special Council <br />MEETING meeting could be called. <br />
