MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JANUARY 26, 2000 <br />Upon motion by Morelan, seconded by LaValle, the public hearing was <br />closed. <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2000-1-28-APPROVINGA CONDITIONAL USE <br />PERMIT ALLOWING ADDITIONAL SIGNAGE ONA MULTIPLE <br />OCCUPANCY BUSINESS BUILDING AT 75 WEST VIKING DRIVE <br />AS REQUESTED BYR. J. MARCO CONSTRUCTION COMPANYAS <br />WELL AS ARCHITECTURAL APPROVAL FOR THE SIGNAGE <br />SUBJECT TO COMPLIANCE WITH THE RECOMMENDATIONS <br />OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Morelan. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Morelan, Pedersen, Scalze, Fahey. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />PREMISES Bob Matson, North Suburban Youth Foundation, appeared before the <br />PERMIT - Council requesting renewal of their premises permit at the Little Canada <br />NORTH Bingo Hall. The license period would be April 1, 2000 through March <br />SUBURBAN 31, 2002. <br />YOUTH <br />FOUNDATION Morelan asked about the name change for North Suburban Youth. Matson <br /> reported that the changed from North Suburban Youth Association to <br /> North Suburban Youth Foundation to better reflect their mission as an <br /> organization. It was pointed out that the application form also includes the <br /> word "Roseville" in the name. Matson reported that this was a mistake <br /> and likely just reflected the fact that their offices are located in the City of <br /> Roseville. Matson reported that NSYF serves the ten cities in the #621 <br /> and #623 School Districts. <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2000-1-29 -APPROVING THE RENEWAL OF <br />PREMISES PERMIT FOR NORTH SUB URBAN YOUTH <br />FOUNDATION FOR THEIR OPERATION OF ONE DAYPER WEEK <br />AT THE LITTLE CANADA BINGO HALL, LICENSE PERIOD <br />APRIL 1, 2000 THROUGH MARCH 31, 2002 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Morelan. <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, Morelan, Fahey, Pedersen, LaValle. <br />Nays (0).
