MINUTES CITY COUNCIL JANUARY 26, 2000 Upon motion by Morelan, seconded by LaValle, the public hearing was closed. Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 2000-1-28-APPROVINGA CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT ALLOWING ADDITIONAL SIGNAGE ONA MULTIPLE OCCUPANCY BUSINESS BUILDING AT 75 WEST VIKING DRIVE AS REQUESTED BYR. J. MARCO CONSTRUCTION COMPANYAS WELL AS ARCHITECTURAL APPROVAL FOR THE SIGNAGE SUBJECT TO COMPLIANCE WITH THE RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Morelan. Ayes (5) LaValle, Morelan, Pedersen, Scalze, Fahey. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. PREMISES Bob Matson, North Suburban Youth Foundation, appeared before the PERMIT - Council requesting renewal of their premises permit at the Little Canada NORTH Bingo Hall. The license period would be April 1, 2000 through March SUBURBAN 31, 2002. YOUTH FOUNDATION Morelan asked about the name change for North Suburban Youth. Matson reported that the changed from North Suburban Youth Association to North Suburban Youth Foundation to better reflect their mission as an organization. It was pointed out that the application form also includes the word "Roseville" in the name. Matson reported that this was a mistake and likely just reflected the fact that their offices are located in the City of Roseville. Matson reported that NSYF serves the ten cities in the #621 and #623 School Districts. Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 2000-1-29 -APPROVING THE RENEWAL OF PREMISES PERMIT FOR NORTH SUB URBAN YOUTH FOUNDATION FOR THEIR OPERATION OF ONE DAYPER WEEK AT THE LITTLE CANADA BINGO HALL, LICENSE PERIOD APRIL 1, 2000 THROUGH MARCH 31, 2002 The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Morelan. Ayes (5) Scalze, Morelan, Fahey, Pedersen, LaValle. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. 16
