Hanson <br />The applicant, Mr. Lee Rossow, has applied for a conditional use permit (CUP) for open <br />and outdoor storage of equipment (buses, construction trailer, construction equipment and <br />bus equipment) and materials (recap usable. tires (75) maximum, plastic storage <br />containers and sand/salt mix) as a principal and accessory use in the side and rear yard, <br />at 3175 Ryan Lane, in Ryan Industrial Park. The applicant indicates this building is used <br />primarily for "Special Projects" related to his business and has a total of three (3) <br />employees. <br />Site and surrounding areas <br />This property is an interior lot located on a .55 acre parcel on the southeast corner of Ryan <br />Lane. The property is zoned "I-1" Light Industrial. The purpose of the I-1 zoning district is <br />to provide for the establishment of warehousing and light or limited industrial development, <br />which, because of the product nature or character of activity requires isolation from <br />residential or commercial use. The principal use within this is building storage/warehouse <br />with some manufacturing and assembly activities.
