Tom's Auto Sales
August 24, 1999
Dear City Council Members:
120 W County Rd. C.
LitUc Canada, MN 551 I7
The project proposed would give the whole piece of land aface-lift. The zoning change would
actually enhance the appearance of the property that is an asset to the community, esthetically
speaking.
Removing the house from 108 W. County Rd. C. makes good sense, as it breaks the flow of two
commercial sites from one another. The house is an obvious eye sore and is out of place.
The intended use of this property would be to control any, and all traffic congestion. Our tow trucks
and our customers would never have to back in or out of our lot onto County Rd. C. With this
proposal we can provide separate entrances and exits from 1 oft access points. This would result in
a clear and safe view of any and all traffic considerations. This plan increases our lot size to
accommodate our customers and is essential access for emergency vehicles.
Our repairables would be confined to an area less visible from the street. The vehicles would be
behind a screened fence providing security, and reducing theft and vandalism. Our added
landscaping ideas would finish off the total external appearance of Tom's Auto Sales.
We take pride in our business and do our best to maintain our property. Our goal is to continue to do
so by making these necessary improvements to achieve a safe, secure, and appealing building site.
Sincerely,
C. ~ C~„/~
Tom Tubbesing
Tom's Auto Sates
Page 31 .................
