MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING <br />OF THE VTLLAGE COUNCIL OF <br />THE VILLAGE OF L T'I'TLE CANADA <br />A special meeting of the Council of the Village of Little <br />Canada was held on Tuesday, June 21, 1955 at 7:00 P.M. at the Little <br />Canada Fire Hall. The following members were present: <br />Louis W. Melancon, Mayor; Roy P. Nadeau, Clerk; <br />Edward R. Loeffler, Carl Spooner, John IvI. Vitale, <br />Trustees. <br />FY°ed Pe Memmer, Village Attorney, was also present. <br />The Mayor announced that this was a special meeting called <br />for the purpose of acting upon all 3.2 beer licenses before July 1st. <br />Upon. motion by Nadeau, seconded 'y Vitale, it was <br />"RESOLVED, That the 3.2 beer licenses for <br />which application had been made be approved and <br />re-issued for the ensuing license year, July 1, <br />1955 to June 30, 1956. These licenses are as <br />follovrs: <br />Joseph Vitale, Venetian Inn, On and Off Sale <br />Gordon Nadeau, Gordlees Tavern, On and Off Sale <br />Franl~ Brausen, Little Canada Taverai, On and <br />Off Sale <br />Max L,yi'ord, M - R Dairy Store, Off Sale <br />Ralph 1{eibe, On and Off Sale <br />Joyce=. Brausen, St. Johncs Bowling Alleys, On Sale <br />itQarcel Gagne, Corner Bar, On and Off Sale <br />The applications of Frank Brausen and Joseph Vitale <br />also included tavern licenses and were approved." <br />Ayes r 5 Nays - 0 <br />The resolution was adopted. <br />Upon motion by Spooner, seconded by Loeffler, it was <br />"RESOLVED, That the application of Mrs. Grace <br />Greene for a 3.2 license at the Aragon Nite Club be <br />denied." <br />Ayes - 5 Nays - 0 <br />The resolution was adopted. <br />The Mayor instructed the Clerk to vrrite a letter notifying <br />nnr5.
