Special IUeeting ~ ®eptember .?_0, 1955 <br />Gordon Nadeau, Little Canada toad, explained to the people <br />that he has been operating a tavern for nearly 20 years and called <br />attention to the fact that the overhead involved in. the operation of <br />such a business is~ much greater than the average person. thinks and he <br />also pointed out that the taverns presently operating in the Village <br />could not possibly survive upon the patronage of village residents <br />alone. I-le opposed runicipal ownership. <br />Mr. Al Arrigonni, 2203 Hendr;~ Place, made a statement in <br />which he opposed municipal ownership. <br />Mr. 'Nilliam lZaschiclc, 17 1;. County Road C., stated that he <br />favors private ownership and opposes the establishment of a municipal <br />liquor store. <br />Mr. Henry l~uot, 565 Little Canada Road, stated that he op- <br />poses municipal. ownership. <br />ownership. <br />George Defiler, Park Street, stated that, he opposes municipal <br />Mr. Homer Rector, 61.~.f.~.
