Mliv(J'i'ES OF SPECIAL IUEETlNCx <br />OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF <br />THE VILLACxE OF LITTLE CAiVADA <br />:, :; ., a <br />Pursuant to notice, a special. meeting of the Council of the <br />Village of Little Canada was held on Tuesday, November 16, 1955 at <br />7;00 P.M. at the Fire Hall, I.ali_0 L'. Little Canada Road. The following <br />members were present: <br />Louis W. Melancon, Mayors Ray P. Nadeau, Clerk; <br />Edward R. Loeffler, Carl Spooner, John M. Vitale, <br />Trustees. <br />nQr. Jerome Awe, 27y6 Rice Street, asked that the licenses <br />for on and off--sale beer, cig<aret and tavern operation previously is~- <br />sured to Kenneth V. 'T'hake be transferred to him, He explained that <br />PJIr. `fhake, his par4:ner, has left the state to accept a position in <br />Florida and for that reason the licenses vrould have to be changed since <br />Mr. Awe wants to continue operating the Aragon Club. <br />Upon motion by Vitale, seconded by Loeffler, it was <br />°RESOLVED, That on and off-sale beer licenses, <br />c.igaret license and tavern license be issued .to <br />Jerome Awe of 2756 Rice Street for operation of <br />the Aragon Nite Ciub." <br />Ayes _ 5 mays - 0 <br />The resolution vaas adopted. <br />Upon motion by Loeffler, seconded by Nadeau, it was <br />"RESOI.VE1, That Louis Peterfeso of 2.70 Rice <br />Street be and is hereby granted a license to sell <br />eigarets at retail®" <br />Ayes _ 5 Nays .. 0 <br />'3'32e resolution was adopted. <br />Mayor Melancon presented a petit3.on which he had recently <br />received from property owners on Labore Road requesting that Mr. and <br />Mrs. John Scully be granted permission to tear doom the old barn on <br />their premises and replace it with a quonset type of building. The <br />peti.t.ion was read a.t length by the Clerk. <br />Upon motion by Nadeau, seconded by Loeffler, it was <br />"RESOLVED, That Mr® John Scully be anal is here- <br />by granted permission to erect a quonset but type <br />of building on his premises to replace his barn which <br />he is removing®" <br />Ay'P.S - Cj NayS ~° ~ <br />
