MINUTES OF THE MEETING <br />OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE <br />VTLLAGE OF Ll'TTLE CANADA <br />;~ ,: :~ ., <br />The regular meeting of the Council of the Village of Little <br />Canada was held at the hittle Canada Fire Hall on Wadnesday, May S, <br />1957, at x:30 P.M, Tha following Council members were present: <br />Louis W. Melancon, Mayor; Roy P. Nadeau, Clerk; <br />Edward R. Loeffler, and Carl Spooner, Trustaes. <br />John Vitale, Trustee, was absent. Also present wore Fred P. Memmer, <br />Villa ge Attorney; L. Jespersen, Road Superintendent; Oscar F. Londin, <br />Building Inspector; and Walter Coenon, Treasurer. <br />Minzztes of the regular meeting of April 10, 195'7 wore ap- <br />proved as read. <br />Mr. Memmer, Village Attorney, reported on the matter of <br />the Costello property, stating that he had written to Harry Costello <br />and that Mr. Costello agrees to have the buildings removed but that <br />he would like to find someone in the neighborhood who wou7.d be will- <br />ing to take them dow7~ at a minimum expanse. <br />Upon motion by Nadeau, seconded by Loeffler, it was <br />"RESOLVED, That the Village Attorney be and is <br />hereby instructed to continue negotiating with Mr, <br />Costello with refarence to the removal of said <br />buildings." <br />Ayes - (~. Nays - 0 <br />Tho resolution was adopted. <br />The Clark read a letter from Mr. Carley, Village Engineer, <br />regarding the construction of Sextant Street by Mr. Tom tiJenzel. <br />Upon motion by Nadeau, saeonded by Loeffler, it was <br />"RESOLVED, That Wenzel's Villa plat be and is <br />hereby approved," <br />Ayes - LF Nays - 0 <br />The resolution was adopted. <br />Upon motion by Nadeau, seconded by Loeffler, it was <br />"RESOLV.L+'D, That the Village Attorney be and is <br />hereby instructed to prepare a contract for street <br />cons'tructi.on betcaeen Mr., Wenzel and the Village and <br />that if Mr. Wenzel is unable to secure a performance <br />
