DeCouraey of 't'hird Avenue, appeared before the Council and asked <br />permission to keep a horse ox~ his premises, and stated he would eruct a ranch-type fence <br />and keep the horse inside of the fense. Iie was advised that Ordinance does not permit <br />horses to be kept on residdntial property, but if. all his neighbors agree to permit him <br />to have a horse, he could probably ]ceep it there during the swnmer months. <br />The Clerk read a letter from Northern States Ponrtr Oompany, regarding an <br />increase in gas rates, which. is being requested by the Northern Natural Gas Company, <br />1Jpon motion by Vitale, seconded by Coenen, ii was <br />"RESOI,V1?D, that the Council of the Village of Ljttle Canada does <br />hereby go on record as being opposed to any increase in gas rates f.or <br />which the petition has boon made by the Northern Natural Gas Compan}= <br />to the Federal Power Commission, and that the Clerk is bereby <br />instructed to send a cop°; of this resolution to the Federal Commission," <br />Apes - 5 <br />Nays - 0 <br />9Bffie resolution was adopted, <br />Upon motion by Loeffler, seconded by Spooner, the meet adjourned at <br />8s48 p,m, <br />Res fully ubmitt , <br />Cleric <br />Att&st; <br />- 3 - <br />
