REGULAR MEETING OF LITTLE CANADA VILLAGE COUNCIL -- JULY 13, 1960 <br />The meeting was called to order by Mayor Melancon at 9830 P.M. Present <br />were: Mayor Melancon, Carl Spooner, John Vitale. Absent were Walter Coenen,and <br />Ed Loeffler, <br />Also present were: Fred Memmer, Oscar Londin, Louis Jesperson and <br />Richard Boss. <br />The minutes of the regular meeting of June 8th, 1960, were read and <br />approved. <br />Mr. Joseph Rosenthal appeared before the Council with a letter in <br />reference to drainage on his property on Iona Lane, <br />Upon motion by Vitale, seconded by Spooner, it was <br />RESOLVED, that the matter be tabled until the next meeting on August 10th, <br />1960, and that Clarence Lee and Don Carley be asked to appear at said meeting to <br />help solve this problem, <br />Ayes - 3 Nays --0 <br />Mrs. Caplette of 140 North Owasso Boulevard East appeared with a petition <br />to request a hearing on rezoning property to Multiple Dwelling - Class C. <br />Upon motion by Vitale, seconded by Spooner, it was <br />posted. <br />RESOLVED, that a hearing be set for the next meeting and notices be <br />Ayes -3 Nays --0 <br />Upon motion by Vitale, seconded by Spooner, it was <br />RESOLVED, that the Venetian Sportsmants Club be permitted to play bingo <br />and sell 3.2 beer on August 21, 1960. <br />Ayes - 3 Nays - 0 <br />Fred Memmer read a proposed ordinance regarding the size of farms for <br />raising stock. John Vitale said that he was not in favor of this ordinance. <br />Mr. Sy Hansen, Willernie, spoke against any such ordinance. Mr. Clarence Belland <br />also spoke against this ordinance. <br />Upon motion by Melancon, seconded by Vitale, it was <br />RESOLVED, that the ordinance be tabled until the next meeting, <br />Ayes - 3 Nays --0 <br />--1-- <br />
