MINITTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE <br />VILLAGE OF LITTLE CANADA <br />* * * * ~ <br />The regular meeting of the Council of the Village of Little Canada, was held <br />at the Little Canada Fire Hall, ¢¢0 E. Little Canada Road, on November 8, 1961 at <br />7s30 P.M. The following Council members were presents <br />Carl Spooner, Acting Mayor; Walter E. Coenen, Clerk; John Vitale <br />and Edward Loeffler, Trustees. <br />Absent was Louis Vd. Melancon, Mayor. <br />Also present weres Frederick P. Memmer, Village Attorney; Louis Jespeusen, <br />Road Supervisor; Richard Boss, Treasurer; and Oscar Londin, Building Inspector, <br />Upon motion by Vitale, seconded by Loeffler, it was <br />"RESOLVED, that the minutes of the October meeting were approved, <br />aub~ect to one correction, to wits that the report on the condition <br />of the occupants of the house on Greenbrier Street, North of LaBore <br />Road, was made by the Clerk, not the Building Inspector." <br />Ayes - 4 Nays - 0 <br />The resolution was adopted. <br />John Vitale stated that William Stenger asked him what oould be done to <br />obtain a building permit for construction of a home on a lot that Mr. Stenger <br />has acquired in Wenzelss Addition. Mr. Stenger had indicated his willingness to <br />agree to any restrictions the Council would require with reference to street service <br />and maintenance by the Village. <br />Upon motion by Vitale, seconded by Spooner, it was <br />"RESOLVED, that the Building Inspector be and is hereby authorized <br />to issue a building permit to Mr. Stenger for construction of a <br />home in Wenzelss Addition, providing the applicant first exeoutes <br />an agreement running with the land to provide that final street <br />construction must be provided for and paid for by benefited prop- <br />erties before the Village accepts the street for maintenance and <br />that until such time the applicant will pay his own cost of street <br />maintenance, snow removal, etc." <br />Ayes-4 Nays-0 <br />The resolution was adopted. <br />The Clerk read a petition requesting an arc light to be placed at McMenemy <br />Road and Rose Lane which had been signed by all of the residents in the effected <br />area. <br />Upon motion by Loeffler, seconded by Spooner' it was <br />"RESOLVED, that the Clerk be and is hereby instructed to refer <br />this petition to the County Board and request that the County <br />authorize an arc light at this location." <br />
