B4INUTES OF 'THE SPECIAL IuTF:ETING <br />OF THI; VILLAGE COUNCIL OF <br />VILLAGE OF LITTLE CANADA <br /># ~ <br />A special meeting of the Council of the Village of Little Canada was held on <br />Friday, July 20, 1962, at 7x30 P.n4. at the Little Canada Fire Hall, 440 E. Little <br />Canada Road. 'The following members of the Council were present: <br />Carl Spooner, Mayor; Walter Coenen, Clerk; Joseph Hacker, Trustee. <br />Absent were John Vitale and Edward Loeffler, Trustees. <br />The Mayor stated that this meeting was a continuance of the hearing for <br />rezoning property on County Road "C" and Rice Street from Class "A" Residential <br />to Commercial. The owner of the property, Mr. Andrew Houle, was present. Only <br />two other persons appeared at the hearing and both of these people stated that <br />whi7.e they had no objection to rezoning they did not want to see a junkyard or <br />filling station located at that corner. <br />Upon motion by Hacker, seconded by Coenen, it was <br />"RESOLVED, that it would be to the best interests of the public of Little <br />Canada that the following described property be and is hereby rezoned from <br />Class "A" Residential. to Commercials <br />Subject to County Road "C" and Rice Street and subject to a County <br />drainage easement; the West 495 feet of the South 10 acres of the <br />Southwest Quarter (SW~~ of the Southwest Quarter (51~4~ of Section 6, <br />Township 29, Range 22, Ramsey County, Minnesota. <br />The Clerk is instructed. to file a certified copy o£ this xezoxxing resolution <br />with. the County Auditor, County Assessor and.
