MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING <br />OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE <br />VILLAGE OF LITTLE CAIQADA <br />~- ~- ~- <br />The speoial meeting of the Council of the Village of Little Canada was held at <br />the Little Canada Fire Hall, 440 E. Little Canada Road, on October 21, 1964 at 7:30 <br />P.M. The following Council members were present: <br />Carl Spooner, Mayor; Walter Coenen, Clerk; Edward Loeffler, Joseph Collova <br />and M. Gene Jespersen, Trustees. <br />The Mayor announced that this meeting was called at the request o£ the Clerk <br />in order to make arrangements for the General Election of November 3. After dis- <br />cussion regarding all o£ the details incident to the use of the new voting machine <br />it was agreed by the Council to have a meeting with the election judges and the <br />representatives of the voting machine company to explain the operation of the <br />machines. The Clerk agreed to call Mr. Clarence Kammerer from the Election Bureau <br />so that he could be present to explain the election laws to the judges. <br />The Mayor stated that the request of Mr. Fred Komm to erect a building on <br />property that is not presently abutting a street, has been investigated by the <br />Council members. <br />Upon motion by Coenen, seaonded by Collova, it was <br />"&ESOLVED, that the Building Inspector be authorized to issue a <br />permit to Mr. Komm providing he sign the necessary agreement <br />waiving the right to demand street services and also waiving <br />the right to object to assessment i£ and when the Council <br />constructs a street and that this agreement be drawn by the <br />Village Attorney." <br />Ayes - 5 N~Ys - O <br />The resolution was adopted. <br />The Clerk presented a petition £rom Mr. Louis Tima, 2747 Jackson Street, <br />asking permission to erect a home on his property across the street from his <br />present address. In view of the fact that this property is zoned commercial and <br />there are several homes adjacent thereto and the petition is signed by more than <br />51°Jo of the adjacent property owners, the Council adopted the Following resolution. <br />Upon motion by Collova, seconded by Loeffler, it was <br />"RESOLVED, that the Building Inspector be and is hereby authorized <br />to issue a building permit to Louis Tima." <br />Ayes - 5 Nays ~ 0 <br />The resolution was adopted. <br />Upon motion by CoIlova, seaonded by Jespersen, the meeting adjourned at Ss30 P.
