MINUTES OF THE RN~ULAR MP,'ETING <br />OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE <br />VILLAGE OF LITTLE CANADA. <br />~- -~ -~ <br />The regular meeting of the Council of the Village of Little Canada was held at <br />the Little Canada Fire Hall, 440 E. Little Canada Road on November 11, 1964 at 7:30 <br />P. M. The following Council members were present. <br />Carl Spooner, Mayor; Walter Coenen, Clerk; Joseph Collova and M. <br />Gene Jesp®rsen, Trustees. <br />Absent was Edward Loeffler, Trustee. <br />Also present were Fred P. Memmer, Village Attorney; Oscar Londin, Building <br />Inspector, L. G. Jespersen, Road Supervisor, and Richard Boss, Treasurer. <br />Upon motion by Collova, seconded by Jespersen, the minutes of the special <br />meetings of September 30, 1964 and October 14, 1964 were approved as presented. <br />Ayes - 4 Nays - 0 <br />Roy P. Nadeau, Jr. presented a proposed plat of Nadeau Addition No. 2 and <br />asked the Council to accept the road for maintenance. This plat had previously <br />been approved by the Council on September 16th and the road has been constructed <br />in accordance with Village specifications. <br />Upon motion by Collova, seconded by Jespersen, it was <br />"RESOLVED, that the street in the Nadeau plat which has been <br />constructed according to Village specifications, be and is <br />hereby accepted for maintenance." <br />Ayes - 4 Nays - 0 <br />The resolution was adopted. <br />George Gotwald of Carley ~ Associates, presented several copies of the new <br />zoning map and stated that he will see to it that the map is published. He stated <br />that he would furnish Mr. Memmer with complete copies of the zoning ordinance so <br />that it could be published and recorded. Mr. Gotwald also reported on his investi- <br />gation of the complaint of Mrs. Saiko of Demont Street. The Council instructed <br />Myers Frattalone, Village Health 0£ficer, to investigate the problem of the sanitary <br />sewer seepage and that Mr, Louis Jespersen check into the problem of weed control. <br />Nir. M. Jespersen complimented the Clerk and the election judges for a well <br />conducted election November 3. <br />Upon motion by Collova, seconded by Jespersen, it was <br />"RESOLVED, that the Village Council does hereby direct the Clerk <br />to place upon the Village election ballot on December 8th, 196q. <br />the question of whether or not to adopt Plan A form of Village <br />government as provided by statute, and that the said proposal <br />be presented and worded as set forth in the statute." <br />Ages - 4 Nays - 0 <br />
