MINUTES OF THIS PLANNING COIvIlVIISSTON <br />On the 1~th day of October 1866, a plen.ning commission meeting <br />was held at the Little Canada Fire Hall, with the following members <br />Aresent. <br />George Anderson Chairman <br />A11 ~eumke' <br />Jervin Gilberston <br />Gordon Nadeau <br />Earl Kossez <br />Thomas Reid <br />Robert Dc Bts,ce <br />Joseph Thoma <br />Norzn Horton. <br />ALSO Present were <br />Joseph Chlebeck Seon <br />Don Carley Engp <br />The Village Council directed a Variance petition of NIr. J.E. <br />Amundson, ofnthe Texaco Inc.. to be study by the planning commission, <br />Mr. Amundson appeaxed before the commission s,sking that: <br />7'he planning commission consider a variance for a sign to be <br />placed at a service station on Little Canada Rd, & Higy 35E. <br />Mr. Amundson asked that a 40 ft sign be placed at this location, <br />because a 25ft sign would not be seen from the freeway because <br />of the terane. <br />Mr. Gilberston asked Mr, Amundson what kind of lighting was going to <br />be used on this sign. <br />Mr. Amundson answered a soft glowing type .light and not spot light <br />or any lights shining directly to some one homed <br />UPON TIIG P?IOTTON OF NiR.
