DIINUTES OF A SPECIAL MEETING <br />OF THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE <br />OF LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />OCT 30 1972 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the Council <br />of the Village of Little Canada, was held on the 30th day of October 1972 at, 7:30PM <br />at 440 E. Little Canada Rd. in said Village. <br />The following members were present: <br />Mayor Perry ttakeeff <br />Clerk Joseph G. Chlebeck <br />Councilmen Richard Anderson <br />Robert De Bace <br />Robert Rudy. <br />Also present: <br />Village attorney, Clayton Parks <br />Village Engineer, Don Carley <br />Building Inspector, Les Layton <br />This meeting was scheduled for Oct 27, 1972 ( Thursday) but had to be <br />changed to Monday. <br />BECKER: Mr. Oliver J Becker, of 1732 E. Co. Rd. B-2 apm <br />HOUSE proached the Council with his attorney, requesting approval <br />& of a property conveyance and a building permit. <br />Proposr~d <br />Village The problem anises over the proposed Village <br />Thoxaughfare thoraughfar plan in sec 5 between Edgerton and Vanderbie <br />in blk. 1- Gervais heights. <br />Mr. Becker approched the Council with a proposed <br />site plan identified as plan 72-385, dated Oct 18, 1972. <br />The plan consits of tcro lots, Lots "A" and "B". The problem <br />is in lot " A " <br />Mr. Becker desires to build a house a lot " A " <br />with a 30 ft set back from the proposed Rd. The present <br />proposed Rd. is half on lots 1-14, blk 1 Gervais Heights and <br />the half on the lots to the east of blk 1 Gervais Heights. <br />The proposed road creates the following problems <br />1. The proposed thoroughfare plan indicates <br />that 30 ft should be taken from each lot. If <br />30 ft is taken from the lotsin Gervais Heights <br />it is very possible the lost will be to small <br />and not meet code. <br />page 1 2. There is a lot Located on the Co. Rd. D <br />and a lot on Allen Ave wJhich will interfere <br />with this proposalrbecause of houses on the lots <br />
